Unit 46 P1 Audio and Visual

Apple advert

Purpose: The reason why Apple has done this video is that it shows that everyone can have their own way of doing/being.

Form: Video is set out to be simple it doesn't have a lot of colors its set out to a more black and white theme the

Commercial advert could be seen on advert TV I also think this could be a YouTube advertisement before the viewer watches what they needed to watch.

Content: It means that not everyone has to think the same or be the same as everyone thinks they are so what the video is trying to say is that it's OK to be different from other people.

Meaning: Not everything has to be about a sentient subject sometimes it can talk about.

Genre: This advert was produced to challenge the public's perceptions. Because of the visual effects, I would say the genre of this commercial advertises 'typography'.

Intended audience: I think the audience would be for those who like to do thing differently but have those who think it would be best for them if they just went along but I think the video examples to those are not ok just to do one way it's better to the other way.

Rio Disable Olympic

Rio Olympics 2016

Purpose: to say that just because I am different from other doesn't mean I can't stop doing the thing I like to do. I think the video encourages young audiences who may have any sort of disable and doesn't believe that he/she doesn't have any potential to be in the Olympics or anything based on sports and only thinks that is for people who don't have any sort of physical, mental problems.

Form: The video is set out to those who think they can't do anything just because of their height, how they look or missing limbs they've to explain that what you are in many ways as possible.

Contact: I think is to stop thinking of the negative and how bad everything thing is going to turn out and to start on how your different in a better way in a good way and why you have this certain disability.

Meaning: The meaning is to say yes and to more outdoor active sports and to say yes to things you would have said no to say yes is helping others to push their self into something of a hobby.

Genre: Commercial Advert for the sports industry

Intended audience:  the video shouts out everybody but I think its target at those who are self-confident and have a disability.

C) Storyboard

 D)Production schedule

Production schedule

In my unit 46 production schedule, We have been typing on the first trees idea and competing for legal ethical issues taking us 6 hrs including the date  (23/02/17) the resources include six-page, iMac computer.

Another would include would be doing a task overviewing the client's brief, making  Initial contact and team workshops (idea generation) The resources include an iMac, WIX page, and the treasure chest with the 21/02/17-23/02/17 this has taken us 10 hrs with the space of two days.

The shortest time we had done on a task was 2hrs the task included use typing up the risk assessment and the location recce the resources include the treasure sheet, WIX and a iMac computer.

E) Relevant Recce

Location Recce

-In my unit 46 location recce we have typing up what could the conditions be like if we would need the weather to be good to film in the terms we may face would be the lighting would become natural from the sunlight. We also may come across is the permission slips we will need to get permission from guy and Rachel to film at their workplace because they are the head of the APR project, Also but also asking the children parents if we may film their child as some parents wish to not film their children.

Viewpoints: The location is easy for us to all to reach as it located near are us

This environment is safe since young children are able to visit by themselves this can be safeguarded by the staff at the APE project this can be compounded by other parents for if Guy or Rachel can't able to look over for that there will be staffs who can help.

Welfare: There is a lot of children in this advert so we would need to prepare for any injuries if Rachel and Guy are busy and if the child is with no parents there but as for transports were sorted to take us and the equipment we are taking with us the transport we are taking is car driven by one of the works at school.

F) Risk assessment

Risk assessment:

In my unit 46 risk assessment I should look out for is the strong winds while recording it can cause to pick up the windy sounds around special.

When It comes over to interviewing is hard has It would be mostly considered of wind then it would be hard we look back at the camera would have picked up the wind and not of the interview person.

We decided to rate this as a medium the actions to Change would be not filming in a bad stormy weather and checking the weather forecast before filming the new risk now changes to a medium.

What I should also look for is the worrying thing Is the slipping and tripping we rated this as a high as we think I putting on the Go pro correctly to possibly lower the accident. So the new risk would be a medium although we would have to double check If the Go pro Is correctly protect on either the child chest/head.

G) legal and/ ethical issues

This is an ideas we used to create our legal ethical issues for our APE project.

H) relevant certification

Unit 46 P3 Produce Materials

Storyboard 1&2

A)Edit decision

What We are done here is the paper format of out plan on of our that one of our group members have done(Frankie) the storyboard is shown on what we think that might be going on or hope to follow them while we are there at the location.

Our mind map is ideas that we have come up with ideas that we could my use while there this is again down by one of the group members(Frankie).

The idea's would from the minimap

-Mum drops off at the ape project

-3 min max

-With upbeat music

Camera Setup

Mindmap

Unit 46 P4 Production Materials

The reason why you see two storyboards is that if anything happens or don't fall into the plan we have a backup. But what we don't want to do is end up not following the whole idea but the client wanted to bring both ideas together when we had gotten to the APE project there was more unexpected play areas then there was

Then mind map was used to follow but end up extending the video from 3 mins may be doing 4- 5 mins long.

Editing progress

-During the editing progress, we have include transactions an intro to what's happening we have also included the little boy to plays is daily route as Norman but instead, he would be upset and have nothing to do

This is where the sound has changed and the beat has been brought up when the transition has changed to outside.

Offline edit

B) Offline edit

In the sample shot, we have used a little boy called Jamie what we decide to do is get little clips to be included like Jaime in his bed waking up, and another of him when eating his cereal basically doing everyday normal things.

(Done by one of our group members)- Frankie

What we did is gotten a little boy named Jamie to feel bored at home with nothing to do until he comes across a poster by the APE project. This is cover by a more upsetting tone of music this then changes when Jaime picks up the poster from the APE project giving a transaction to move from an indoor area.

Out into a big open space full of children ages, 6-11 running about what we also did was change the sound of the music to a more vibrant and happy feeling the reason on why we choose this song is because of its fits well on how everything sets out.

Towards the end, you are able to see Jaime happy include him holding his homemade necklace round his neck smile/laughing.

Rush log timelapse

In this rush log, we have to keep a track on our videos and we have decided where or not to keep them the Moriarty of them but the two we decide not to keep was because the clips involve the same subject talking about the APE project. As for the other, the clip mic was too close to one of a subject because she was touching it, therefore the sound was not good and very fuzzy.

Rushes Log

Audio visual 1

Audio Visual 2

C) Visual effects

In the sample shot, we have used a little boy A boring atmosphere with nothing to do until stumble across the Ape Project poster given the mood to change quickly. We only use the sound for although the clip of the sounds was  0:45 seconds long we still include this as something to put down.

For the second sample sound, we have included more of an upbeat sound that gives off a more happy vibe as when the clip is moved from outside with other kids playing. While keeping a beat alongside.

The same beat counties along until the end of the short film.

Gopro footage

Rushes log for Go Pro

- In the rushes log, we have done is kept a log on all the same clips we have coollert.we have to reply them over whether to keep.

There is one we have not decided yet the reason on because of the gopro footage from Rachel's point of view.Rachel has a gopro on her and her and a young boy is a swing by the wood.

Feedback Review

Final Film project

Feedback Client Project

- For our APE project, we have received feedback on what we need to do this Included having more speech in the advert cut some shorts e.g when a child is sewing show just a few seconds. This includes the change of the tempo of the second song as it comes in to loud. We also needed to include a variety of angles like using wide shots when using a GoPro.

Final AD for APE  Project

This Is our final advert as we taken our feedback this also goes for the time as well instead of the advert of going over 2.00 mins long It's been changed to 1.57 long the reason why Is because we include the feedback from the class how to suggest these changes.
