Unit 13 P1 Extsing print based media
The Cricketer Magazine
Introduction: In my unit 13 I will be planning my magazine ideas first I will be starting by analyzing 3 magazine where I would include the purpose, form, and style and also the context in angling. As well I will be choosing role model ideas for what I will be cover in the over 2 units coming.
Target audience males ages 55+
A)Purpose
What is the aim of this project?
To get more of its target audience to buy more of their magazine. The purpose of doing this would be advertising towards the main target such as posting what they would like to see such as a cricket player. I think the purpose of having someone such James Vince on the magazine is because of the aim of what the magazine is trying to get from there chosen target audience I think their target would be aiming past working age and more in the retirement age.
B)Form and Style
Where is it seen? (Advertised where?)
I Think other than a magazine It would be advertised on billboard, Poster, Banners and bus stops. I think this is where I would see the photo around other than seeing it in the magazine.
Where might it be seen?
The magazine can be seen either on the playing field where they would normally be or because its a photoshoot it could be in a different location. But as this is about cricket the location would be on the playing field.
How big is it?
This page is the size of two A4 pages. This would fit in the size of the magazine able to showcase the two pages.
What is the medium?
Would be another way of communication thought magazine or audience can see the magazine through the internet. There are Both ways that the magazine would publish but it could be depending on the age who read the magazine such as if he/she would be in the 50's they would be having it posted through the mail as that age they would not understand technology. As if it was based on a target that is younger this age would based thought the internet.
Is it print based? How do you know?
I know this a print-based because based it's a magazine and the frequent use of paper that is needed for the magazine each week depending on how much the magazine is relisted to the public.
C) Content
The color that the magazine is based on would be their uniform would be the main idea as you can see it's based on the color dark blue. The camera shot is facing a landscape make the text easy to read and as well as the picture to make it look easy

The meaning behind having a cricket player on the magazine than any other sport as I think it's the only sports that do get enough attention such as football, basketball, and ruby. So I think the magazine as publishing something that has been rarely seen before.
E)Genre
The genre I would see it as would be a sport as it can be seen towards as the player on the magazine. And as well towards the audience that could have played before getting into full time jobs.
F)Target Audience
The audience is based on males ages 55+, as I think at that age, is more towards their interested in the sport especially where they would never play the sport before. Or have but has been to busy with work to ever come back to the sport in a long time due to having the busying schedule.
G) Frequency
Due to the audience only being over 50 I think they would only publish 1 a week due to them having more free time and more time to spend reading. The magazine the if it was in any age group.
H)processes What was the pre and post-production process?
The pre and post-production process would be a photo shoot and the storyboard they would be important as both are needed for planning giving ideas to use for the photoshoot the storyboard is used to help decide if the location would be a good idea.
Locations
if its a time were the field is free then the photograph or anyone would need permission. Also, need it for when taa king photo of the player make sure if he's free or not but for all this to happen the event would need to be plan ahead of time
Special techniques
Although It may not seem a lot the equipment needed are a lot such as a Good Camera such as using Canon EOS 1DX and the Nikon D4S as they would be best to use also you would be needing Tripod,Camera Bag, Lighting, Lenses there would be more but as its based outside there are not many things needed.

Target Audience
A)Purpose
How do you know this is the purpose?
The idea for the magazine is to get as many more people or its target audience to play more of the cricket Game as the game can be based outsides as we now know that they are not many age groups playing outside so I think the purpose of the having the magazine publish towards the older audience as it can be easier to draw them in and to also buy there magazine. As well than the younger audience who would be harder.
B)Form and Style
What is it-? This can be seen as a magazine featured on the magazine can be seen one of the players outside take many different photos to be fitted and decide before putting the final picture towards the magazine publisher.The form is placed down as A4 paper layout in a landscape given it a easy way to read rather having it layout in in portrait as it would be harder to read because of the target audience default.

Physical properties?
Such as the size being either A3 or A4 or being the size of handbag, the size of the magazine can be seen as A4 also what you probably will not notice is does the magazine have a liner what is mean the line through the middle. And yes it does and that was the magazine has been folded in the middle to close.
Fonts, graphics, color schemes
The color that is showing is a basic color such as the player uniform with the color of blue and red with also have natural colors form the background.
Graphics
The graphics would be when making the magazine it would be to input the text on the left-hand side of the page. I think while creating the page they have used photoshop to create the written side of the magazine. I also think they have used to create the magazine is the big text as well alongside with the photo on the right-hand side. Graphics like this can then won't the reader wont to buy more of the magazines form the publisher due to the high quite of the photos and text laid out.
Fonts
The font size can apply to the reader even more due to the size of the tile first as many would start to read it because of the color that is displayed. This would eye which the target audience as its suitable for them to be using as many would not wont to have an overwelling size of the text.
C)Content/meaning
What pieces of contending stands out to you?
What stands out to me is the color schemes that they used in the background and how it’s able it fit with the topic of cricket I also like how it stands out from the rest of the magazine as the background to me seems real.
How is the piece of content was created?
The piece is created with two A4 paper to be created together as a magazine the pice of the picture is an original outdoor photo shoot this can be created with one of much famous cricket player. On the front page if the author/photographic were to use photos from the internet he/she may be sue with copyright as the photos don't belong to them where they can be faced with a lot of money from not asking the user permissions.
What is the meaning behind the magazine?
To bring in more of its target back and playing more cricket outdoors games I also think that there are more people not doing what they like to do when hitting a point of age so I believe the magazine is here to help.
How do you know it is this genre?
My idea of the genre would be fiction as it’s based on a real thing and not based on nothing nonfiction and also it’s in the sports category based on the cricket player standing to post for the camera.

My target audience is males ages 55+ who would be instead in the topic of cricket and would most enjoy reading the magazine as well as I believe they would have more of an idea of how the game is played then younger generation would do.

Is this released daily, weekly, monthly etc? How do you know this?
As the target audience are over the age 50 and depend on whom much of the age ground reads the magazine I would say about weekly the magazine would public the story as its target on viewers who don’t have much to do in their days.

Explain the progress of the creators planning the magazine?
What needs to be plan are the is the storyboard as ideas would need to be created out on the paper to see what positions are good. Shooting schedule can be impotent as well because they need to know if the person whom they photograph are going to be free. Whenever he/she free then the crew then can decide on dates when they are going to book the location and gather items on what they would need to take outsides.

Target Audience
Nicki Minaj Magazine
A)The purpose I think the purpose is to get more females into the rap game like Nicki Minaj as there not many women are given a change so with the magazine being published. It would give more girls be inspired as well and to get them into the music business.
B)Form and Style The format is described as to landscape as the picture and the text is nice layout and can be easily read with the black text. The style is shown to have a pink bold text displaying the celebrity name in the tile box.
C)Content: I the process was just in the photo shoot as they can take up to a few hours and as well into the edit to make the magazine and publish.
D)Meaning- For girls to be inspired within the Muise and to get the girls to do the same thing the magazine is a popular thing so they have gotten the most popular female rapper to be in the front page of the paper.
E)Genre: Due to having a female celebrity on the front page the magazines that publish this would be in the music department having the famous celebrity being in the Rap music.
F)Target Audience based on the color of my age group I would age would be 25+ and buy magazines each time when visiting the store or just as a treat each time new content would be released. As this can be many of one interest the target such as favorite movies, Tv shows, music artists and as well as celebrities. These are the many interest that the audience would find intrest and would as well do in their free time.
G) Frequency
I think the magazine would be published every month or two due to the age are all ways on their phones and magazines would be digital download from their phone so then females would not have to go and buy a paper version.
H)processes
My thought on the location would be inside with a pink backdrop to created the background the photo shooting would at least take a few hours due to the creation of the main star's hair,Alongside with the edit to input the text as well while keeping the color the the tile and the background the same style.

Role models ideas
Role models would be Michelle Obama as she is the first lady of American and married to Obama the present I have chosen her because she inspires the women to become more of themselves and to achieve their goals in life. My second Idea is landmarked were I go around Bristol to film the most iconic landmarks there is in Bristol.

Negative-My trouble would be that she lives in an America and me filming would be impossible to do so and since she is a powerful and busy person I would have no way of interviewing her in the white house.
Landmarks- My second idea was landmarking I have chosen to do this because it was in my walking rage. I would first start off with the fishponds fish as that is my first idea in and also, I am able to walk as it is close for me,my other idea was to film the SS.great Britain boat and filming the history of the boat although this is not walking distance I what need to value my time when I visit over there.
Negative- As I think there are not many landmarks were I can film only the SS.great Britain and the suspension bridge but both are having me to take a long journey.
Graffiti- My 3rd ideas is Graffiti as I see this all the time around Bristol. I chose this because I believe there are not as many people who would choose this topic so if I have picked this topic I would hope to go a little more on this topic.

Negative- All though I can pick this subject I feel as if there are not many who would enjoy what topic I have film and may not like the outcome of what I am making.
Unit 14 P3 Print Based Ideas
Introduction: In this unit I'm doing 3 everyday people such as subjects on landmarks, Graffiti and teachers and what will be doing is two different everyday people project 1 will talking about bristol landmarks the other is talking about bristol graffiti and in that i'm explaining the purpose, medium that is used what my film overview will be and how will my print design of my magazine will look like I also did on just like this but for teachers instead.
I've created two young viewers I plan hero ideas and and talk about my magazine ideas with many more in the rest of my units

Introduction: Sharing my story about the Bristol landmarks what I will be doing is asking the question from the Local on what they think Should the location change or keep as it is. This is going to benefit me with my filming and camera work. What I hope from this video is good quality and hopefully shows a meaning behind towards the viewers when the seen it.

For this, I will be doing a double page of my documentary. Only using main images or the images that have better angles than the others. I will be doing this because it gives out a higher quietly than the other images.

Introduction: Sharing my story about the Bristol graffiti in St paul's This is going to benefit me with my filming and photo works. My film time is going to be 3 mins long as I don't want to board the views with a film that's going to be over my time plan. I have chosen to do this because this is what I have seen much around Bristol.

Purpose
My reason on to do this is just getting different reaction and option on whether they like it or not. Is because of its quick simple and time on with the people I am talking too.

For the project are is using a double page spread to show more than one of my pictures in my documentary, Also including my other images from the landmarks and also the small interviews.

The subjects I would choose to interview is my English teacher
My transportation will be me walking since I only live 20 minutes away from the school.

MY HERO IDEAS
Since my heroes are going to be hard to film and also one out of the three dies it's going to be tricky for me to interview them so what I Was thinking was that I could change to so that able to but bits of other videos from when they have been interviewed and put them together as one short film based on any recent events that happen.

I would be having my interview outside depending on the weather but if it gets too windy and able to pick up the interview speaking the I would change to inside and ask teachers about what it does I Have chosen my idea would have been a teacher and ask any question in a free empty room
My idea of having to do the first lady has changed and now to either have ideas to with teachers or Graffiti.

My idea for the interview I am interviewing a teachers in their free lesson, not during a lesson,And I will be asking not too many questions but not too little questions also I would also need to do the interview in a quiet because if there a lesson going on in the background I would not hear the teacher whom I am interviewing.What I would like to only interview the teachers that only taught me not the ones who did not this will give me a hard interview to do from.
My Magazine Double page
My new idea is to have taken pictures that have graffiti or famous landmarks and have the local what they think. For my magazine, I have decided to include two different in but I needed to have the images with simpler colors, not something off-putting and does not match. The images I have taken two different images at the different place on being in Fishponds and the other being at st pauls. The reason why I have to choose to do this is that for the background they both have a different shade of blue and I think it fits well together.
My plan, for now, is asking the public basic Q&A I would hope to get something to fill up me double page spread.
Insertion
I would say this inspires young audience who wants to be arts and create something new and meaningful towards other people who also love to do something new as well.
What I have done is I made a second Magazine Double page with other graffiti images that I have taken in St. Paul and my alien image I token that on my way to school. I did this because I wanted to see the difference if I had changed. In my film, I need to ask for permission from strangers I also I need to make sure I ask for any music I should also include any photo that I could be using.
This is the final piece of my idea I have chosen to do graffiti the images I was taken are from fishpond and St Pauls used Adobe InDesign.
What I have done here is my magazine layout for my choice of layout for my magazine I have chosen two different graffiti photo that I have taken in serpent location are I would of like to include a landmark to include in the magazine alongside with text on my reason why people do this side of art and why not do

Content can be seen from the colors such as blue witch can be seen in the background of P4. I have chosen to do bright, loud colors as it would be eye catching to see when looking through the magazines.
Style would be white text in a box that I have taken on my shoots when taking photos.My reason on taking these photos is because it has the same color of blue and also because it works well with the white text that I have chosen to go with.

I have chosen to do my graffiti interviews as I got the most positive feedback from it and I get to expand on that more.
Feedback-
My feedback includes my graffiti, Landmarks, and teachers my feedback includes its feedback about Graffiti by saying Bristol is a perfect scene for graffiti and has plenty of rotation and with speech.
Landmarks- as for my landmarks I had limited with Landmarks which I need to get some more.

In my proposal, I'm here to talk about the subjects I have to choose this landmarks and Graffiti.
In my presentation, I have talked about and give my target audience, kit list, and crew list.
I had taken out my role model idea as I believe so many people were already doing that I have designed not to do that and do something that nobody else is as such as graffiti and landmarks.
This is my before layout that I have planned for my graffiti although I have not added any textBox yet I would like to show before and after of my draft layout what I will explain is a background history on graffiti to fill in the blank space I hope to interest anyone who seems to want to know more about the topic graffiti.
I choose these graffiti layouts as it fits well with each other I also choose white as you are able to see it’s able to see better than having any darker color.
Purpose: For the viewer to understand that not many would of choice Graffiti and I like to show that there is some good about Graffiti even it does not touch on very much by others.
Target audience:
My target audience would be anyone ages 13+ as I believe it’s a way you get to know what's around Bristol and what could be the meaning of all the graffiti whether it's there for fun.
Production Plan such as copyright, intellectual, property rights, offensive language.
In my project, I would need to be aware of this as I can’t avoid problems like these
Copyright can be one of them the issue with copyright is that anyone can take it even the little things such as text and photos this is why most of the photo as watermarks over the photo so many people can’t take the idea. Also, copyright can be seen in music as well can have copyright on either the lyrics or the beat of the music.
Probert rights when out film or photo taking I have to know where to avoid such as private land and restricted areas in Bristol. Those are the places that I have to avoid If I did what I would face is a fine from over £1,000 Deeping how many times I did it in the past.
Offensive Language also when I’m filming I can’t have a bad language I have to either cut it out or beep the word as the language would be not suitable for the audience.
Unit 13 P4 Feedback Sheet
In my presentation I have given 3 ideas on what I should be doing for my final project my ideas were based on graffiti, landmarks and teachers. Each feedback told me what I should be doing such as for my first idea is on graffiti my feedback that was given to me was:

-Bristol is perfect scene for graffiti I will be using this feedback in my video and hope to capture what I can.
My second Idea was on Landmarks as my feedback was little as I never taken many photos of landmarks as my comment suggest ‘limits with landmarks’.
My final Idea was on teachers with the comment including ‘nice, personal idea’ I have never chosen this idea was because there was many other ideas based on teachers.
Unit 13 P5 Pre-Production
In this unit, I will be showing my production schedule and budget.
On what I will be needing to use for my ideas. I am also including the budget on the Equipment that I'm taken out and what the close cost that it will come around too if anything happens to it this can include my main idea.
and my second is graffiti were for this one is I can different points on the same artwork. My target audience would be anyone one who likes the artwork that's in Bristol.

For my transport, I had taken the bus to St Paul's

Resources and equipment
My main Resources would be me having the camera and the 2 different lenses and as well as having the tripod and clip-on mic for interviews that I may need in my film I have chosen these because they are my main source whenever I would go out to film so the list would never change.
Equipment that I would need to have are apple computer for edit what I would use for editing is premiere pro and as well I would also need is

And they carry the camera I would also have a camera bag to carry as well.
Legal and ethical issues
What my legal & ethical issues would be is to address it to be friendly and to be able for viewers to understand as well and why I have chosen this topic. My ethics would be to have my group of people thought they are not going to be in my film they are helping with the basic things.
We also need to think about the sex and race or others as I don't want to offend anyone when anything has been released.
Copyright act The copyright act was formed back in 1988. This to prevent from anyone using other people music, CD’s or videos with having the act it would make everyone limited on what they can and can’t copy of the internet and resealed them as their own.
Offensive Language: How I would avoid strong language and any other language such as sexist language the reason why I Have chosen sexist language was because I wanted to show that there was more than just explain what strong language was and I wanted to also include that there were more facts when explaining two different Language.
Inaccurate Information
Means the measured amount of data accurate which also mean I would need to be the very process and to not mess anything up so what I think would accurate is my timing and I would hope to most they would be on the up feat would be realis somewhere around July were would be open the public in Bristol.
Intellectual property rights
The property rights component is an assessment of the ability of individuals to accumulate private property –google. In which for men if I would like to use a piece of land in my magazine I would have to contact the council to give me a permission when taken photos.

Product launch dates
My launch date would be in the summer on the 29th of July 2017 as there would be no school and more people would be free especially on the weekends as there would be no parents working and would be taking their kids out do activities. One of the many reasons why they can be going to the Upfest in Bristol is because there is not a lot of graffiti around the UK and this festival would allow more graffiti, as well as this the graffiti can be linked up with Banksy one of the famous street artists in Bristol. Banksy could also be somewhere placing his art around Bristol especially when Upfest is around Banksy would be seen somewhere around his art.
Production schedule
My production schedule is what will be using my target data is the 29th of July 2017 because that is the day when upbeat would open in the summer. Why I have chosen to do upfest is because that would be also doing Graffiti and that would be a good time to show off some of my graffiti as well. So I have type updates before the event happens my first data is 03/07/17 this date stats of when I will be analyzing existing work of a magazine that has been public.

My resource of this is wix I spent about 4 hours doing 3 different magazines all of my task has taken me to the final day of the 27/07/17 were I would be editing. My Resources would Premiere pro this can take me up to the whole day on a Friday on editing my film that can last up to 2-3 mins long.
